Body-Solid EXM3000LPS Multi-Station Home Gym with Leg Press
The EXM3000LPS is a seven station gym built around two independent 210 lb. weight stacks, so two people can train at the same time without ever waiting on each other. The leg press station runs a 2:1 cable ratio and delivers up to 420 lb. of pressing resistance. Add the optional VKR30 vertical knee raise attachment and a third person can train alongside them.
Intended use: Light commercial and residential
What sets the EXM3000LPS apart from a single stack gym
-
Two stacks, not one. Most home gyms make a training partner wait. This one gives each person their own 210 lb. selectorized stack on the same frame.
-
420 lb. of leg press resistance. The press station is geared 2:1, so the 210 lb. stack pushes back like 420 lb. A stack gym without that gearing stops at whatever the stack weighs.
-
A leg press that tracks your body. A two bar linkage pivots the press plate to match your leg angle through the whole range, so your ankles are never locked into one hard position.
-
Six position pec cams. The Perfect Pec station uses dual overhead cams with six settings per arm, so you set your own prestretch instead of taking whatever the machine gives you. It reverses for rear delts.
-
Lifetime warranty in the home. Body-Solid covers the frame, welds, pulleys, bearings, cables, and upholstery for life in household use.
Seven stations on one frame
-
Multi press. Bench press, incline press, shoulder press, and chest supported mid row. Fully adjustable pads, so the pressing path matches your shoulders instead of locking you into one groove.
-
Leg press and calf press. Up to 420 lb. through the 2:1 linkage. Two position press plate, rubber covered foot plate, adjustable back pad, and sealed ball bearings on a pillow block.
-
Perfect Pec. Dual overhead cams with six increment settings per arm. Flyes in one direction, rear delts in the other.
-
Lat pulldown and high pulley. Pulldowns, triceps pushdowns, and high cable work. The hold down rollers fit any size user with no adjustment between sets.
-
Ab crunch and mid pulley. Full range cable crunches, oblique work, and mid height triceps extensions.
-
Leg extension and leg curl. A cam driven leg developer for quads and hamstrings.
-
Seated row and low pulley. Rows for the mid back and lower lats. The low pulley swivels fully for curls, upright rows, shrugs, and leg abduction and adduction.

Our own walkthrough runs the machine station by station, which is the fastest way to judge whether the layout suits how you train.
How much weight does the EXM3000LPS leg press actually move?
Up to 420 lb. The leg press station uses a 2:1 pulley ratio, so every pound on the stack counts twice at the foot plate. Loaded to the full 210 lb. stack you are pressing the equivalent of 420 lb. This is the number most shoppers miss when they see a 210 lb. stack and assume the machine is light for lower body work.

Frequently asked questions
How much room do I need for the EXM3000LPS?
91 in. long by 73 in. wide by 83 in. tall. Add about 2 ft. of clearance on each open side for training room, and make sure you have at least 7 ft. of ceiling. With the optional VKR30 attachment the width grows to 104 in.
Can two people really use it at the same time?
Yes. The two 210 lb. stacks are independent, so neither person touches the other's weight. Body-Solid rates the machine for two simultaneous users, or three with the optional VKR30 vertical knee raise attachment.
Can I add more weight to the stacks later?
Body-Solid does not publish a weight stack upgrade kit for the EXM3000LPS. The way you get heavier loading on this machine is the leg press, which reaches 420 lb. through its 2:1 ratio. Ask us before buying third party plates.
How long does assembly take?
Plan a full day. Owners consistently report 9 to 10 hours, and routing the cables takes the longest. Two people move it along much faster. Professional assembly is available if you would rather not do it yourself.
What is the difference between the EXM3000LPS and the EXM3000S?
The LPS includes the leg press and calf press station. The S does not. The rest of the frame is the same.
How does it arrive?
Freight, curbside, with liftgate service included. It ships as 7 machine cartons plus 8 cartons of weight plates, 15 pieces in all, and the longest carton is about 79 in. Measure your doorway, hallway, and any stairwell turn before delivery day.
Where do I find the manual and the parts diagram?
Both are linked in the Specs & Logistics tab on this page, along with the product data sheet.
Purchase benefits
- Free freight shipping within the continental United States
- Body-Solid warranty: lifetime coverage on every component in household use. In a light commercial room, lifetime on the frame and welds, 3 years on pulleys, bushings, bearings, and hardware, and 1 year on cables, upholstery, grips, and all other components. The full terms are in the Warranty tab on this page.
Bottom line: The EXM3000LPS is the right pick when two people need to train at once and you want a real leg press built into the frame rather than bought as a second machine.
