Body-Solid GKR60 2-Tier Commercial Kettlebell Rack
The GKR60 is a two tier kettlebell rack with two flat trays measuring 56 in. by 11.25 in. It stands 23 in. deep, 62 in. wide and 32 in. tall, and weighs 93 lb.
The flat tray with a lip is the detail that matters. Most kettlebell racks use angled saddles sized for one bell shape. A flat tray takes any bell you own, in any order, at any weight. That means a rack you buy for a 6 bell set still works when the set grows to 12, and it holds competition bells and vinyl bells side by side without a fight.
How many kettlebells does the GKR60 hold?
It depends on the bells, which is why Body-Solid publishes tray size instead of a bell count. Two trays of 56 in. will take about 10 to 12 vinyl or cast iron bells in the 5 to 50 lb. range, fewer if you load it with 60 lb. and up.
Can I add more tiers?
Yes. Body-Solid sells a third kettlebell shelf as the GKRT6B, a dumbbell shelf as the GDRT6B, and a medicine ball shelf as the GMRT6B. There is also a single upright, the GDR60UPB, for building a longer run.
What does it fit?
Every Body-Solid kettlebell line: the KBV vinyl bells, the KBR powder coated bells, the KBC premium bells and the KBX kilogram competition bells. It also takes third party bells, since the trays are flat.
Frequently asked questions
Does it come assembled?
No. It bolts together and takes most people under 30 minutes with a wrench and an Allen key.
How much floor space do I need?
The rack itself is 23 in. by 62 in. Add about 3 ft. of standing room in front so people can bend and lift without crowding.
Are kettlebells included?
No. The rack ships empty. Body-Solid KBV vinyl sets are the usual pairing.
Can it go against a wall?
Yes. It is a two sided rack with an open back and it is stable freestanding or against a wall.
How does it ship?
At 93 lb. it ships by ground carrier in most cases and arrives at your door rather than by freight truck.
