The GAP9 replaces the nylon pulley wheels on a Body-Solid G9B gym with solid aluminum ones running on sealed bearings. It adds no exercises. What it changes is how the cables feel and how long the pulleys last under heavy daily use.

Who is this actually for?

Nylon pulleys are fine in a household gym and Body-Solid warrants them accordingly. Aluminum is worth the money in two situations: a machine running many hours a day in a facility, and an owner who cares about cable smoothness enough to notice the difference. If your G9B lives in a garage and gets used four times a week, the stock pulleys will outlast your interest in the machine.

Cancellations & returns
