PowerBlock Commercial Pro 175 Adjustable Dumbbells
The Commercial Pro 175 is a pair of adjustable dumbbells that runs from 12.5 lbs. to 175 lbs. per hand. It ships with the Pro Max Stand on commercial casters. This is the heaviest set PowerBlock builds, and it is the only one rated for a commercial floor.
One pair covers 22 settings. That is the number that changes how you should judge the price. To reach 175 lbs. per hand with fixed dumbbells you need 22 pairs, roughly 3,850 lbs. of iron and about 15 feet of rack. The Commercial Pro 175 does the same job on a footprint of 21.5 in. by 25 in.
Who is the Commercial Pro 175 for?
Facilities where strong members train and floor space is expensive. Hotel and corporate gyms, personal training studios, country clubs, and firehouse or first responder gyms. It also suits a serious home lifter whose top set is above 100 lbs. per hand, though you are paying for a commercial build you may not need.
PowerBlock defines a commercial space as any environment used for business or shared use. That is the setting this warranty is written for.
How much weight does it actually adjust in?
It moves in 7.5 lb. and 10 lb. steps across 22 settings, from 12.5 lbs. up to 175 lbs. per hand. There are no micro weights in the handles on this model, so 7.5 lbs. is the smallest jump you can make.
That is a coarser step than the Pro 100 EXP, which moves in 2.5 lb. and 5 lb. increments. At 175 lbs. a 7.5 lb. jump is about four percent, so it matters less at the top of the range than it would at the bottom.
What is included?
Two dumbbells, a pair of 12.5 lb. handles, a pair of 20 lb. handles, two commercial grade magnetic selector pins, and the Pro Max Stand with commercial casters and protective mats on both shelves. Everything arrives in seven boxes.

Commercial Pro 175 or Pro 100 EXP: which one should you buy?
Buy the Pro 100 EXP if your heaviest set is under 100 lbs. per hand, the room is residential, and you want 2.5 lb. jumps. It costs far less and covers most lifters for life.
Buy the Commercial Pro 175 if people other than you use the equipment, or if you already train above 100 lbs. per hand. The commercial warranty and the heavier build are what you are paying for, along with the extra 75 lbs.
What are the limits you should know before ordering?
The Commercial Pro 175 does not expand past 175 lbs. per hand. There is no upgrade kit, so buy the ceiling you need.
It also does not take the PowerBlock barbell or kettlebell handle attachments. Those fit the Pro and Elite stacks, not this one. If you want a barbell option in the same system, look at the Pro 100 EXP instead.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Commercial Pro 175 come with a stand?
Yes. The Pro Max Stand is included, and it rolls on commercial casters. Both shelves have protective mats.
Can it expand past 175 lbs. per hand?
No. 175 lbs. is the ceiling. This is the heaviest adjustable set PowerBlock makes.
Does it have micro weights in the handles?
No. This model uses 12.5 lb. and 20 lb. handles instead, so the smallest jump is 7.5 lbs.
Are the handles knurled?
Yes. The grip is knurled stainless steel, 38 mm across and 4.88 in. long.
Do PowerBlock barbell or kettlebell attachments fit it?
No. There are no compatible barbell or kettlebell accessories for the Commercial Pro 125 and 175.
How many boxes does it ship in?
Seven. It arrives by freight truck, curbside.
Is there any assembly?
The dumbbells arrive ready to use. The Pro Max Stand needs to be put together, which is a two person job of roughly half an hour.
What does the warranty cover?
PowerBlock covers this set with a 1 year commercial limited warranty. It does not cover normal wear, misuse, or dropping the dumbbells.
