Body-Solid GROW Rower Attachment

The GROW turns the low pulley on a home gym or a power rack into a seated rowing station. It is a 66 in. slide rail with a padded seat and foot plate that hooks to the low pulley cable, so the resistance comes from the weight stack you already own rather than from a fan or a magnet.

Why row off a weight stack?

Because the resistance is the same at stroke one and stroke two hundred. A fan rower gets harder the faster you pull, which is great for intervals and frustrating when you are trying to hold a steady pace. A stack lets you set a number and keep it.

It also means you are not buying another machine, another footprint, or another thing to store. The GROW is 66 in. long, 20 in. wide, 12 in. tall and weighs 43 lb. You can stand it against a wall when you are done.

Do I need anything besides the gym?

No. It uses the low pulley cable and the handle you already have. Hook it up, set the pin and row.

How much resistance can I use?

As much as your stack holds. Rowing uses your legs, back and arms together, so most people pull more here than on any single station.

Is it a cardio machine or a strength machine?

Both, depending on how you set it. Light weight and long sets is conditioning. Heavy weight and short sets is strength work for the back and legs.

How does it ship?

Ground, in one carton, at 43 lb. No freight truck needed for this one on its own.
