Body-Solid GKR9 Vertical Knee Raise and Dip Attachment

The GKR9 bolts a vertical knee raise and dip station onto the side of a Body-Solid G9B gym. It adds two bodyweight movements the gym does not otherwise cover, and it lets a third person train while the two weight stacks are in use. It carries no weight stack of its own.

Fits: the Body-Solid G9B multi-station gym. Body-Solid also lists this part as the GKR9B on its current G9B page. Same attachment.

What does the GKR9 add to a G9B?

  • Vertical knee raises. Supported on the back and arm pads, so you work the abs and hip flexors without hanging from a bar.
  • Parallel bar dips. Chest, front delts and triceps, loaded with your own bodyweight.
  • A third training station. Because it uses no cable and no stack, someone can use it while both weight stacks are busy.

How much extra room does it need?

The attachment itself measures 26.9 in. long by 47.3 in. wide by 74.8 in. tall and mounts to the side of the gym frame. Add its width to the side of the G9B you mount it on, and leave standing room in front of the dip handles.

How is it built?

  • Oversized contoured back pad with arm pads and hand grips
  • Steel frame finished to match the G9B
  • Assembled weight 84.5 lb.
  • No weight stack and no cable connection

Frequently asked questions

Does the GKR9 need its own weight stack?
No. It is a bodyweight station. There is no stack to buy and no cable to route.

Will it fit a gym other than the G9B?
No. Body-Solid builds this bracket for the G9 frame only. Ask us before ordering if your gym is a different model and we will point you at the right part.

How does it ship?
Two cartons, about 58 lb. total. The larger carton is roughly 30 in. by 26 in. by 7 in.

How long does assembly take?
Under an hour for most people. It arrives in two cartons of pre-welded parts and bolts to the existing gym frame.

Common questions

Does it arrive assembled?

Most equipment arrives partly assembled and needs some setup. How much varies by product, and the Specs & Logistics section on this page lists the requirement for this model.

Will the truck bring it inside?

No. Freight delivery is curbside only. Liftgate service is included, so the item comes off the truck safely, but someone needs to be there to receive it, sign for it, and move it from the curb. Measure your doorways and the path to the room before you order.

Can I pay with a purchase order?

Yes. We work with clinics, schools and municipalities on purchase orders. Here is how it works.

What if it arrives damaged?

Note the damage on the delivery receipt before you sign, then contact us. Orders ship insured and carry the manufacturer's warranty, so a damaged or defective item gets repaired or replaced.

How do I know it fits my space?

Check the Specs & Logistics section for assembled dimensions and the clearance to allow around the unit. Measure the room, the doorways, and the route from the curb before you order.
