The GIOT9 adds seated hip abduction and adduction to a Body-Solid G9B gym. Both movements run from one seated position, and the attachment draws on the gym's existing weight stack, so there is no second stack to buy.

Fits: the Body-Solid G9 frame. Body-Solid builds a separate part, the plain GIOT, for its other gyms. Order this one for a G9B or G9S.

What does the GIOT9 add to a G9B?

• Seated hip abduction. Works the outer thigh and glute medius.
• Seated hip adduction. Works the inner thigh from the same seat.
• No cable change between the two. You switch movements without rerouting anything, which is the reason people use this instead of a band or a cable ankle strap.

How much weight does it use?

Whatever is on the gym's stack. The GIOT9 has no stack of its own and no separate resistance. On a standard G9B that means up to 210 lb., or up to 260 lb. with the stack upgrade.

Does it come with a weight stack?
No. It runs off the G9B's existing stack. There is nothing else to buy.

How much room does it need?
The attachment measures 60.63 in. long by 40.16 in. wide by 23.23 in. tall and mounts to the gym frame. Add its width to that side of the machine and leave room to get in and out of the seat.

Will it fit my other Body-Solid gym?
Not this version. The plain GIOT is the part for the G2B, G3S, G5S, G6B and G10B. Ask us and we will confirm which one your gym takes.

How long does assembly take?
Plan a couple of hours. It bolts to the gym frame and connects to the low pulley cable. Body-Solid publishes no time estimate.

• Body-Solid does not publish a shipping weight or carton count for the GIOT9. The sibling GIOT part ships in 2 cartons at about 126 lb. total. Ask us to confirm before you plan a delivery.

Cancellations & returns
